Police are investigating the murder of 42-year-old Lyndon Gibson, who was gunned down in Santa Cruz on Thursday night.
According to police, officers from the Santa Cruz Police Station received a report of a shooting at Lynch Avenue, off Pipiol Road, around 10.05 pm. When they arrived at the scene ten minutes later, they were told that loud explosions had been heard in the roadway.
Gibson was found lying in the road with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mt Hope, in a private vehicle, where he was pronounced dead at 10.35 pm.
