A 14-year-old boy is be­ing treat­ed for stab wounds he re­ceived af­ter a fight with an­oth­er school­boy on Fri­day af­ter­noon.

Po­lice said the teen was stand­ing on Isaac Junc­tion with his sib­lings at around 3.20 pm when he got in­to an ar­gu­ment with an­oth­er boy.

A fight be­gan and dur­ing the scuf­fle, the boy pulled out a knife, stab­bing the teen twice. The bleed­ing boy walked to the Cou­va Health Fa­cil­i­ty where he was treat­ed and trans­ferred to the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal for fur­ther ob­ser­va­tion.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors said the at­tack­er was al­so wear­ing his school uni­form at the time of the stab­bing.
