A Sea Lots man remained warded in critical condition yesterday after he was shot by a gunman in the area.
Residents of Pioneer Drive reported hearing loud explosions around midday. Shortly after, they found the 27-year-old victim bleeding from a wound to the right side of his neck.
Residents alerted the police and Emergency Health Services and stayed with the man until paramedics arrived.
He was taken to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital, where he was treated and later warded in a serious condition.
