SEWA TT has received telecommunications equipment valued at $50,000 to better support the charitable organisation’s efforts during national emergencies. The donation came from Computer Technologies and Services Limited (CTSL), which launched its operations in Couva on Thursday.

CTSL Founder and Managing Director, Rushton Paray, said the initiative formed part of a commitment he made to SEWA TT during his 10-year tenure as the MP for Mayaro. Paray praised SEWA TT’s dedication to assisting those in need during times of disaster.

“We are happy to donate this IPBX system. It’s a 10-terminal system specifically designed for mobile operations. It has 8 mobile FSO in it so you won’t need access to hard phone lines in times of disaster,” he said.

Paray said CTSL remains committed to Corporate Social Responsibility. He explained that the company was founded in 1994 and has since established itself as a premier ICT provider, offering world-class consulting and innovative ICT solutions.

Speaking about the company’s expansion into Couva, Paray said it strategically places CTSL closer to the Point Lisas Industrial Estate: “We felt that this was a good place to deepen our roots and obviously this is where the biggest players outside of bpTT, which we have a long-standing relationship with, operate. I think we are well tooled and prepared for that future. I agree that Point Lisas is a mature IT market in terms of the history that many of the companies here would have long-standing relationships with existing players, but we also know that businesses here demand service providers who can anticipate challenges, adapt quickly and deliver flawlessly, and that’s what we are able to do with our clients on the south-eastern side of the island.”

He said CTSL has a proven track record in high-stakes environments, consistently delivering under pressure through precision and responsiveness. He noted that the company uses a different model from many operators by anchoring partnerships with both local and international entities to meet clients’ needs.

As an example, Paray said while some operators may take two weeks to relocate a fibre line, CTSL can complete the task in a single day.
