Shooting in South Park leaves at least 2 dead

Homi­cide of­fi­cers are on the scene of a shoot­ing in­ci­dent at South Park in San Fer­nan­do, which has left at least two peo­ple dead.  The iden­ti­ties of the vic­tims are still be­ing as­cer­tained.

Ini­tial re­ports stat­ed short­ly be­fore mid­day, the vic­tims were in a parked sil­ver AD Wag­on in the car park near the Courts Store when a blue Volk­swag­on Jet­ta pulled up be­side them and the oc­cu­pants opened fire.

Po­lice said wag­on was rid­dled with at least 20 bul­let holes. Sev­er­al spent shells, in­clud­ing of 5.56 cal­i­bre, were re­cov­ered at the scene. 

Of­fi­cers from the South­ern Di­vi­sion as well as fire of­fi­cers are still on the scene.
