St Fran­cis of As­sisi Ro­man Catholic Parish in San­gre Grande marked Good Fri­day with its an­nu­al Sta­tions of the Cross pro­ces­sion, draw­ing parish­ioners of all ages to re­flect on the events lead­ing to Christ’s cru­ci­fix­ion.

Young Gabriel Au­gus­tus took on the role of Je­sus, lead­ing the solemn jour­ney through the parish’s streets in a mov­ing reen­act­ment of the Pas­sion. The church choir ac­com­pa­nied the pro­ces­sion, singing hymns and guid­ing wor­ship­pers along the route.

Parish priest Fr Steve Dun­can com­mend­ed the con­gre­ga­tion for their par­tic­i­pa­tion, of­fer­ing spe­cial praise to the mem­bers of the youth and young adults min­istry who as­sumed key roles in the drama­ti­za­tion.

Of­fi­cers from the San­gre Grande Po­lice Sta­tion were present through­out the event, en­sur­ing the safe­ty and se­cu­ri­ty of both par­tic­i­pants and spec­ta­tors.
