Central Division officers arrested one man and seized a quantity of marijuana during an anti-crime exercise yesterday.
The TTPS said an anti-crime exercise was conducted between 3 pm and 6 pm yesterday, involving officers of the Central Division Task Force (CDTF), Area South and Caroni K9 Unit, paying special attention to drug blocks in the Couva and Freeport area.
The officers then proceeded to a Southern Main Road, Caroni, address, where a warrant was executed on the home of a 21- year-old priority offender.

The man was arrested and the narcotics, which weighed 2.1 kg, with an estimated street value of $65,000, was seized and conveyed to the Couva Police Station.
