The Min­istry of Ed­u­ca­tion says 11540 or 90% of its ac­tive, el­i­gi­ble teach­ers across Trinidad and To­ba­go will re­ceive their back­pay with De­cem­ber 2023 salaries to­mor­row, De­cem­ber 19th, 2023.

Pay­ments for the re­main­ing 10% of ac­tive teach­ers will con­tin­ue to be processed and is es­ti­mat­ed to be com­plet­ed by De­cem­ber 31st, 2023.

Pay­ments for re­tired teach­ers will be processed sub­se­quent­ly.

The MoE has es­tab­lished an email ad­dress; back­pay­queries@moe.gov.tt ; to re­ceive and re­spond to queries on teach­ers’ back­pay emol­u­ments.
