The Min­istry of Works and Trans­port is ad­vis­ing the pub­lic of the tem­po­rary clo­sure of the Ed­in­burgh 500 Bai­ley Bridge, Ed­in­burgh – Mon­trose Con­nec­tor Road, Ch­agua­nas, on Wednes­day 9th March 2022, be­tween the hours of 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The Min­istry of Works and Trans­port says this has be­come nec­es­sary in or­der to fa­cil­i­tate main­te­nance works to the Bai­ley Bridge and ad­vis­es that dur­ing this pe­ri­od, the bridge will be closed to all ve­hic­u­lar traf­fic. As such, the pub­lic is ad­vised to uti­lize La Clave Street, the Ca­paro Val­ley Bras­so Road and the South­ern Main Road, as an al­ter­na­tive ac­cess route dur­ing the pe­ri­od.
