These are reopening on Monday – Phase 3

Prime Min­is­ter Dr Kei­th Row­ley has an­nounced that Phase 3 of the re­open­ing of the econ­o­my fol­low­ing the COVID-19 re­stric­tions, will be moved up to this com­ing Mon­day.

The fol­low­ing will be­gin from Mon­day:

All man­agers of the Pub­lic Ser­vice will be re­quired at work
All oth­er pub­lic ser­vants will work on a ro­ta­tion­al ba­sis, eg Mon-Wed-Fri or Tue-Thu, not every day
All re­tail es­tab­lish­ments, in­clud­ing malls – must all close at 6 pm
All pro­fes­sion­al ser­vices, in­clud­ing health care ser­vices to open
Play Whe, lot­to and all NL­CB ser­vices restart
Caribbean Air­lines to add more dai­ly flights; port more sail­ings to and from To­ba­go
Book shops to open
Eat­ing out­lets at malls will re­main take-away ser­vices
Out­door din­ing spaces at ho­tels will be al­lowed ON­LY for guests
Gath­er­ings will re­main at 5 and taxis at 50 per cent

Phase 4 will be­gin the fol­low­ing Mon­day, June 8. It will in­clude the restart of bar­ber and hair­dress­ing ser­vices as well as spas. It will al­so in­clude the re­open­ing of the full pub­lic sec­tor.

Phase 5 is ear­marked June 22 but the Prime Min­is­ter said it could be ear­li­er.
