Three persons were arrested in connection with motor vehicle and praedial larceny offences on Tuesday, during anti-crime exercises
conducted in the Central Division.
In the first exercise, officers of the Central Division Task Force and Chaguanas Criminal Investigations Department acting on
information, went to Enterprise, between 10 am and 4 pm.
During the exercise, officers intercepted a red Honda Vezel motor vehicle with a male occupant.
Checks of the vehicle revealed that the chassis and engine numbers appeared to have been tampered with.
The driver, a 26-year-old of Enterprise, was arrested in connection with the matter.
Meanwhile, Task Force officers conducted an exercise in Freeport, following a report of stolen agricultural produce.
Two male suspects, ages 34 and 35, both of Felicity, were held shortly after in connection with the matter.
