To­ba­go po­lice be­lieve rob­bery may have been the mo­tive be­hind the killing of 64-year-old Chi­nese con­trac­tor Fan­glin Zuo, who was found dead at his Ba­co­let home on Sun­day.

Zuo’s body was dis­cov­ered around 11.40 am by a co-work­er in­side his con­tain­er home at Blue Haven Vil­las, Ba­co­let Street. In­ves­ti­ga­tors said he was slumped over a ta­ble with blood near­by.

He was last seen alive on Sat­ur­day night af­ter hav­ing din­ner with col­leagues. The fol­low­ing day, when he did not re­spond, his co-work­er checked on him and found him dead. Po­lice and emer­gency re­spon­ders were called short­ly be­fore 1 pm.

Crime scene of­fi­cers processed the scene and seized sev­er­al items of ev­i­den­tial val­ue. En­quiries are con­tin­u­ing.
