To­ba­go record­ed its tenth mur­der for 2023 this morn­ing af­ter Lucy Win­ches­ter, 39, of Canaan suc­cumbed to her in­juries af­ter she was stabbed on Sat­ur­day night. Supt Rod­hill Kirk con­firmed to Guardian Me­dia that Win­ches­ter was stabbed dur­ing an an al­ter­ca­tion with an­oth­er woman along Gaskin Bay Road just af­ter 9pm.

She was tak­en to the Scar­brough Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal where she re­ceived emer­gency me­di­al treat­ment. She re­mained in a crit­i­cal con­di­tion up to this morn­ing but died from her in­juries just be­fore 8 am. A fe­male sus­pect is as­sist­ing po­lice with their in­ves­ti­ga­tion.
