Two German and two Dutch visitors were among several people robbed in a string of incidents in Port-of-Spain on Sunday evening.
Police said the tourists were standing near the Diego Martin maxi-taxi hub shortly after 5 pm, when they were attacked by two bandits.
One of the assailants began choking one of the Dutch nationals, while the other announced a robbery.
The men stole several bank cards and $600 in cash, before running off along Wrightson Road.
Less than an hour later, a woman was loading furniture onto a truck near her Lange Street, Gonzales apartment when she was confronted by two men, one of whom was armed with a gun.
The gunman stole her mobile phone and ordered her to leave the apartment. She complied, and the men escaped.
And in a third incident on Sunday night, a Freeport man was using a Scotiabank ATM on Independence Square just after 9.30 pm, when he was attacked by three men.
They stole his phone and cash before fleeing.
Officers of the Port-of-Spain CID are investigating all three cases.
