The Miss World Trinidad and To­ba­go (MWTT) Pageant is pleased to an­nounce the of­fi­cial spon­sor­ship of the MWTT Top Mod­el Com­pe­ti­tion by pre­mier au­to­mo­tive deal­er­ship Toy­ota Trinidad and To­ba­go Lim­it­ed (TT­TL).

The Miss World Trinidad and To­ba­go Top Mod­el is a sub-com­pe­ti­tion with­in the Miss World Trinidad and To­ba­go pageant and will take place on Sat­ur­day 15th Oc­to­ber 2022 at Toy­ota’s San Fer­nan­do show­room.

Guardian Me­dia is al­so the of­fi­cial me­dia part­ner of Miss World TT.

The Top Mod­el com­pe­ti­tion will as­sess the al­ready cho­sen sev­en­teen (17) top fi­nal­ists and shine the spot­light on those who can best man­age their stage pres­ence in the show’s two seg­ments. First­ly, by mod­el­ling swimwear fash­ioned by Re­sort-Wear De­sign­er Brand Rhion Ro­many, and sec­ond­ly, in High Fash­ion pieces pro­duced by Trinidad and To­ba­go’s Top Lo­cal Fash­ion De­sign­ers.

Na­tion­al Pageant Di­rec­tor Charu Lochan Dass said she is elat­ed that Toy­ota Trinidad and To­ba­go Lim­it­ed has agreed to col­lab­o­rate with the fran­chise on this event, “This is a mo­men­tous oc­ca­sion. We re­main over­whelmed by the sup­port of cor­po­rate Trinidad and To­ba­go, and we are pleased to col­lab­o­rate with a strong en­ti­ty and brand like Toy­ota for one of the main seg­ments of the Miss World Pageant. And what makes this even more spe­cial, is that Toy­ota Trinidad and To­ba­go Lim­it­ed has agreed to host the event at their show­room in San Fer­nan­do.” 

Ryan Latchu, Pres­i­dent of Toy­ota Trinidad and To­ba­go Lim­it­ed said, “Part­ner­ing with Miss World Trinidad and To­ba­go of­fers op­por­tu­ni­ty to young women across the coun­try, who will be able to rep­re­sent Trinidad and To­ba­go on the world’s stage, and act as role mod­els to so many oth­ers. We be­lieve the Toy­ota brand will fur­ther high­light the mod­el­ling tal­ent of these sev­en­teen (17) fi­nal­ists at the in­ter­na­tion­al lev­el, and po­si­tion our na­tion­al rep­re­sen­ta­tive to win the Crown.”

The win­ner of the Top Mod­el Com­pe­ti­tion will au­to­mat­i­cal­ly move on to the se­mi-fi­nals. The Grand Pageant Fi­nale, where one fi­nal­ist will be cho­sen to rep­re­sent Trinidad and To­ba­go, will take place on Sun­day 6th No­vem­ber 2022 at the Na­tion­al Acad­e­my for the Per­form­ing Arts (NA­PA), Port of Spain.
