Trinidad to provide space for boats sheltering from Hurricane Beryl

Fi­nance Min­is­ter Colm Im­bert says with dan­ger­ous Hur­ri­cane Beryl head­ing for Bar­ba­dos, St. Vin­cent, Grena­da and To­ba­go, there is an amaz­ing in­flux of boats com­ing down through the 1st Bo­ca to Trinidad, to shel­ter from the storm.

Rough­ly 100 boats have sought shel­ter, thus far.

On his X (for­mer­ly Twit­ter) ac­count this morn­ing, Min­is­ter Im­bert said the Gov­ern­ment is prepar­ing to ac­com­mo­date them.
