“Discussions focused on deepening cooperation in key sectors including trade, education, agriculture, sport, and cultural exchange,” a Ministry statement reports, as it described the historical relationship between both nations as “warm and enduring”.
Trinidad and Tobago and Colombia established formal diplomatic relations on February 22, 1968.
The Ministry says since then, the partnership has been marked by cordiality and cooperation, grounded in mutual respect and a shared vision for regional progress.
