The Cer­tifi­cate of Char­ac­ter ser­vice pro­vid­ed by the Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice is tem­porar­i­ly sus­pend­ed.

In a press re­lease is­sued to­day, the TTPS stat­ed that ap­pli­ca­tions for Cer­tifi­cates of Char­ac­ter can­not be processed at this time due to a sys­tem mal­func­tion.

Mem­bers of the pub­lic can con­tact the sta­tion in which their ap­pli­ca­tion was made for fol­low-ups be­tween 8:30 am and 3:30 pm. The TTPS says they are work­ing to­wards rec­ti­fy­ing the sys­tem.
