Two sus­pects were ar­rest­ed, and two il­le­gal firearms and am­mu­ni­tion

seized dur­ing an­ti­crime ex­er­cis­es in the East­ern Di­vi­sion on Tues­day.

An ex­er­cise in the To­co Po­lice Dis­trict be­tween 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm led to of­fi­cers search­ing a black Hon­da Civic. They al­leged­ly dis­cov­ered a Smith & Wes­son re­volver con­tain­ing five rounds of .38 spe­cial am­mu­ni­tion con­cealed un­der the left leg of the front seat pas­sen­ger.

Both the dri­ver and pas­sen­ger were ar­rest­ed and trans­port­ed to the To­co Po­lice Sta­tion along with the ve­hi­cle and seized items.

In the Biche Po­lice Dis­trict of­fi­cers dis­cov­ered a home­made trap gun at an aban­doned house in Charu­ma Vil­lage, Biche.
