Two suspects were arrested, and two illegal firearms and ammunition
seized during anticrime exercises in the Eastern Division on Tuesday.
An exercise in the Toco Police District between 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm led to officers searching a black Honda Civic. They allegedly discovered a Smith & Wesson revolver containing five rounds of .38 special ammunition concealed under the left leg of the front seat passenger.
Both the driver and passenger were arrested and transported to the Toco Police Station along with the vehicle and seized items.
In the Biche Police District officers discovered a homemade trap gun at an abandoned house in Charuma Village, Biche.
Investigations are ongoing in these matters.
