Two men, both nationals of Columbia, were fined J$7,000 or sentenced to 30 days in prison for entering the country illegally.
The men, who appeared in court in the central parish of St. Catherine in Friday both pleaded guilty to illegal entry.
Carlos Jose Flores, 37 and Luis Fariete, 36, were held during a joint operation in the parish on September 27, following which they were taken to a police station where they were charged with illegal entry.
In court, the attorney representing the Columbians, Denise Hinson said her clients want to return home.
The court was told that the Passport, Immigration and Citizenship agency, will be working with the police to arrange for the repatriation of the men.
