Two peo­ple, a 28-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, died when their ve­hi­cle crashed in­to the sea in Ch­aguara­mas last night.

The de­ceased have been iden­ti­fied as Jeral­dine Mata­moro, 25, and Mark Thomas, 28.

Guardian Me­dia un­der­stands the ac­ci­dent oc­curred around 9 pm on Sun­day (May 26), op­po­site O2 Park on the West­ern Main Road in Ch­aguara­mas.

The two oc­cu­pants re­port­ed­ly drowned in­side the ve­hi­cle.
