Two peo­ple, a 15-year-old boy and David Bap­tiste, 25, died fol­low­ing Sun­day’s ve­hic­u­lar ac­ci­dent in St Ann’s.

The ac­ci­dent oc­curred some­time af­ter 1 pm when a black Nis­san Sly­phy head­ing north along St Ann’s Road near the Rit­u­als Cof­fee Shop crashed in­to the wall of a dwelling house just around the cor­ner from the Diplo­mat­ic Cen­tre.

Po­lice said the six oc­cu­pants in the ve­hi­cle were re­turn­ing from a zess par­ty at St Paul Street, East Dry Riv­er, where Prince Swan­ny had per­formed. The teenag­er lived at Bha­ga­loo Street, En­ter­prise, Ch­agua­nas, with his moth­er and was spend­ing the hol­i­days with his fa­ther at Hut­ton Road, St Ann’s. He and Bap­tiste suc­cumbed to their in­juries at the Port-of-Spain Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal.

One oth­er vic­tim re­mains ward­ed in crit­i­cal con­di­tion.
