Two suspects were arrested and quantities of cannabis and ecstasy seized by officers during anti-crime exercises conducted in the Northern and South Western Divisions this week.
Officers of the La Horquetta and San Raphael Police Stations conducted an exercise between 6 pm and 9 pm, on Wednesday, during which they stopped and searched a blue Kia Niro motor vehicle, with two male occupants.
The search resulted in the discovery of 1.67 kilogram of cannabis with an estimated street value of $182,030 and 60 gram of ecstasy with an estimated street value of $150,000.
The two suspects, both aged 32 of San Raphael, were arrested in connection with the find.
Meanwhile, the South Western Division, officers of the La Brea and Guapo Police Stations conducted an exercise around 10:30 pm, on Friday.
The exercise resulted in the discovery of a quantity of cannabis in a vegetable stall in the La Brea district.
