Two Maraval men were arrested and are expected to be charged after police raided a house used to grow and cultivate marijuana on Friday.
Police said between 3 pm and 9 pm, officers of the North Central Division Gang Intelligence Unit (NCGIU), visited the house where they found plants, cured marijuana and growing mechanisms as part of what officers described as a “largescale” growing operation.
Also found at the house were a pistol, a revolver and a quantity of ammunition.
The men, aged 26 and 39-years-old are expected to face charges of possession of firearms, possession of ammunition, possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and cultivating marijuana.
