Two Mar­aval men were ar­rest­ed and are ex­pect­ed to be charged af­ter po­lice raid­ed a house used to grow and cul­ti­vate mar­i­jua­na on Fri­day.

Po­lice said be­tween 3 pm and 9 pm, of­fi­cers of the North Cen­tral Di­vi­sion Gang In­tel­li­gence Unit (NCGIU), vis­it­ed the house where they found plants, cured mar­i­jua­na and grow­ing mech­a­nisms as part of what of­fi­cers de­scribed as a “largescale” grow­ing op­er­a­tion.

Al­so found at the house were a pis­tol, a re­volver and a quan­ti­ty of am­mu­ni­tion.

The men, aged 26 and 39-years-old are ex­pect­ed to face charges of pos­ses­sion of firearms, pos­ses­sion of am­mu­ni­tion, pos­ses­sion of mar­i­jua­na for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing and cul­ti­vat­ing mar­i­jua­na.
