Two men were killed and three oth­ers in­jured fol­low­ing a shoot­ing in Mal­ick yes­ter­day af­ter­noon.

Re­ports in­di­cate that res­i­dents of Sev­enth Av­enue heard sev­er­al gun­shots short­ly af­ter 1 pm. When they checked the area, they found five peo­ple near a pink house along the road­way.

The vic­tims had sus­tained gun­shot wounds and were tak­en to the Er­ic Williams Med­ical Sci­ences Com­plex for treat­ment by emer­gency re­spon­ders and po­lice of­fi­cers.

Two of the in­jured men, iden­ti­fied as Oren Danglade and Keron Paul, lat­er suc­cumbed to their in­juries.

A woman who was al­so in­jured was grazed by a bul­let and treat­ed, while two oth­er men re­main hos­pi­talised in se­ri­ous con­di­tion.

Up to late yes­ter­day, in­ves­ti­ga­tors had not dis­closed a mo­tive for the shoot­ing and in­quiries were con­tin­u­ing.
