Two men were killed and three others injured following a shooting in Malick yesterday afternoon.
Reports indicate that residents of Seventh Avenue heard several gunshots shortly after 1 pm. When they checked the area, they found five people near a pink house along the roadway.
The victims had sustained gunshot wounds and were taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex for treatment by emergency responders and police officers.
Two of the injured men, identified as Oren Danglade and Keron Paul, later succumbed to their injuries.
A woman who was also injured was grazed by a bullet and treated, while two other men remain hospitalised in serious condition.
Up to late yesterday, investigators had not disclosed a motive for the shooting and inquiries were continuing.
