Two peo­ple were shot and killed and two oth­ers wound­ed in two sep­a­rate in­ci­dents.

Around 12.54 am on Thurs­day, an uniden­ti­fied man from Laven­tille Road, San Juan where they met a 27-year-old man of Hap­py Hill stand­ing along the road in the vicin­i­ty of Boot Hill, with a gun­shot wound to the left side of his hip. Po­lice of­fi­cers

took him to the Er­ic Williams Med­ical Sci­ences Com­plex, where he was ward­ed. Around 1:05 am of­fi­cers of the North East­ern Di­vi­sion Task Force al­so re­spond­ed to an­oth­er shoot­ing at Laven­tille Road, when they saw a man of African de­scent with gun­shot wounds about the body.

The uniden­ti­fied man was tak­en to the same hos­pi­tal, how­ev­er, he suc­cumbed to his in­juries and was pro­nounced dead around 1:15 am.

A to­tal of 38 9mm spent shell cas­ings were re­cov­ered on both scenes.

Po­lice are yet to es­tab­lish a mo­tive.

Mean­while, in Ari­ma, in an un­re­lat­ed in­ci­dent, Dwayne Caram­bo­cas, 17, of Mar­tinez Trace Ari­ma was killed. A 19-year-old man of Al­mond Cres­cent, Bre­gon Park, was wound­ed.

Around 7:30 pm on Wednes­day, Caram­bo­cas and the vic­tim were at a friend’s home at John Lane Ex­ten­sion Ari­ma, when gun­shots were heard em­a­nat­ing from the liv­ing room area. Up­on check­ing, Caram­bo­cas was found ly­ing on the floor in the liv­ing room with a wound to his head and the vic­tim, a gun­shot wound to the right side of his but­tocks.

Po­lice re­spond­ed and took both men to the Ari­ma Hos­pi­tal where Caram­bo­cas was pro­nounced dead on ar­rival at around 8 pm.

The vic­tim was treat­ed and ward­ed in a sta­ble con­di­tion.

The scene was processed by SERU per­son­nel who re­cov­ered ten spent 9mm shells, three frag­ments and two pro­jec­tiles.
