Two Longdenville men were shot at their home on Sunday afternoon by suspects who reportedly came looking to buy marijuana.
Police said the victims, aged 49 and 44, both of Ravine Sable Road, Longdenville, were in their front yard around 3.25 pm, when a white Nissan AD Wagon stopped on the road.
Two men came out and walked towards the victims as they enquired where they could purchase marijuana.
The elder of the two victims, who was seated on a chair, asked the suspects who they were and why they had come to his home.
Instead of responding, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and fired several shots at the man, hitting him in both legs.
The second victim, who had been leaning against a parked vehicle, was also shot in the left leg.
As both victims raised an alarm, the suspects left in a waiting car. .
Both victims were taken to the Chaguanas Health Facility, where they were treated and discharged.
Two 9 mm spent shell casings with the markings TT Air Guard were retrieved at the scene. - Anna-Lisa Paul
