Two men were shot and wound­ed in Cara­pichaima around 5pm on Fri­day af­ter­noon.

Po­lice said gun­men opened fire on two men at a street next to the St Mary's Ceme­tery.

The men were both tak­en to the Cou­va Dis­trict Hos­pi­tal.

One of them is known to be a ven­dor who works on St Mary's Junc­tion.

Both vic­tims are from the Bank Vil­lage, Cara­pichaima area.
