Vo­ces Jovenes Parang Group host­ed its fi­nal Start De Parang event at the Li­ons Cul­tur­al Cen­tre, Fitzblack­man Dri­ve, Port-of-Spain, on Sep­tem­ber 13. Launched 13 years ago to pre­serve the parang tra­di­tion, the event has proud­ly achieved its goal. It re­mains a show that au­di­ences, fans, parang lovers, and paran­deros alike ea­ger­ly an­tic­i­pate each year.
