Several densely populated and high commercial districts in Western Trinidad will be affected by water-supply disruptions for the rest of the afternoon, as the Water and Sewage Authority (WASA) continues repair work on a leaking pipeline.
WASA said that due to an unforeseen delay in repairing a leaking transmission pipeline, customers in parts of St James, Long Circular Road, St. James from the Western Main Road to Saddle Road, Maraval inclusive off all side streets such as Belle Vue, Dibe Road, Francis Road, Period Road, Brieves Road and Aboud Circular will be affected.
The Authority says work on the site to repair the leak is expected to be completed at 8 pm today.
The Authority says they are offering limited truck borne services upon request, and that customers are to contact 800-4420/26.
