There will be an interruption in water supply for customers served by the Carlsen Field Water Treatment Plant on Wednesday 24th August between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
According to a press release from WASA, This has become necessary to facilitate emergency repairs to a leaking 10” raw water pipeline.
Areas affected include Carlsen Field Farm Proper, Thompson Road, Cashew Gardens, Sou Sou Lands, Success Trace, parts of Edinburgh Road, Ravine Sable, Palmiste, Upper and Lower Arena Road, La Quesa Road to the Upper Siewdass Road Temple, Mission Road from the Freeport Overpass along Mission Road up to Siewdass Road Junction, Christian Village East of the Tunnel and Nadira Gardens.
The Authority further advises that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of the repair work.
