There will be an in­ter­rup­tion in wa­ter sup­ply for cus­tomers served by the Carlsen Field Wa­ter Treat­ment Plant on Wednes­day 24th Au­gust be­tween the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  

Ac­cord­ing to a press re­lease from WASA,  This has be­come nec­es­sary to fa­cil­i­tate emer­gency re­pairs to a leak­ing 10” raw wa­ter pipeline.  

Ar­eas af­fect­ed in­clude Carlsen Field Farm Prop­er, Thomp­son Road, Cashew Gar­dens, Sou Sou Lands, Suc­cess Trace, parts of Ed­in­burgh Road, Ravine Sable, Palmiste, Up­per and Low­er Are­na Road, La Que­sa Road to the Up­per Siew­dass Road Tem­ple, Mis­sion Road from the Freeport Over­pass along Mis­sion Road up to Siew­dass Road Junc­tion, Chris­t­ian Vil­lage East of the Tun­nel and Nadi­ra Gar­dens.  

The Au­thor­i­ty fur­ther ad­vis­es that it may take up to 24 hours for the ser­vice to nor­mal­ize to some af­fect­ed ar­eas fol­low­ing the com­ple­tion of the re­pair work.
