Watermelon vendor Dillon Joseph has been killed in a drive-by shooting at his stall near the Caroni roundabout.
The incident occurred shortly after 1 pm today where occupants of a black Tiida opened fire on Joseph and another vendor.
Police said Joseph was the target.
The other vendor was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex.
In January this year, Joseph was shot five times in a double murder at Gregory's Lane, Freeman Road in Saint Augustine.
Investigators say the shooting today is a spillover from the murders, shootings and house fires along the Old Train Line in Saint Augustine.
Joseph was the cousin of Anisa Ramkissoon who was killed at her Freeman Road home on March 3.
