TRINIDAD, TO­BA­GO AND THE RE­MAIN­DER OF THE LESS­ER AN­TILLES

Weath­er con­di­tions will be gen­er­al­ly sun­ny de­spite the like­li­hood of show­ers, par­tic­u­lar­ly over hilly ar­eas. There is al­so the low (20%) chance of the iso­lat­ed heavy show­er or thun­der­storm favour­ing south-west­ern ar­eas. Gusty winds and street flood­ing are like­ly near heavy down­pours.

River­ine Flood Alert #5 – YEL­LOW Lev­el is in ef­fect for com­mu­ni­ties sur­round­ing ma­jor and mi­nor rivers and their trib­u­taries.

Most riv­er lev­els across Trinidad have de­creased to be­low their banks and run-off is steady. How­ev­er, some im­pact­ed com­mu­ni­ties are still at low to mod­er­ate risk of ad­verse im­pact. Note that run off will al­so be slow­er at high tide, which will be at 9:45 pm on Wednes­day 30 No­vem­ber 2022, and 10:55 am on Thurs­day 1 De­cem­ber 2022.
