A 28-year-old fe­male dri­ver is dead fol­low­ing an ear­ly morn­ing crash in Mara­bel­la. 

Chris Ra­goo­nanan, a wait­ress, of Har­mo­ny Hall, Gas­par­il­lo, died at the scene. 

Ini­tial re­ports are that around 2 am, she was dri­ving along Union Road in a white Hyundai Ac­cent with an­oth­er fe­male pas­sen­ger who was in the front seat. 

The ve­hi­cle re­port­ed­ly swerved and crashed in­to a con­crete wall at Ali's Hard­ware, caus­ing Ra­goo­nanan to be­come pinned. The pas­sen­ger was tak­en to the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal where she is still be­ing treat­ed. 

Of­fi­cers of the Mon Re­pos Po­lice Sta­tion re­moved Ra­goo­nanan's body from the ve­hi­cle and it was tak­en to the mor­tu­ary, pend­ing an au­top­sy.
