A San Juan woman was killed on Thursday night, after she was knocked down while attempting to cross the Churchill Roosevelt Highway (CRH).
The victim has been identified as Rodelle Mohammed, 38, of El Socorro Extension.
Reports indicate that a 36-year-old driver, of Laventille Extension Road, Morvant, was heading east along the CRH around 11.40 pm when, upon reaching Southern Sales & Services, San Juan, he collided with Mohammed, who darted out suddenly as she ran from north to south.
