Road Safe­ty Co­or­di­na­tor of the TTPS Sergeant Brent Bat­son said they  lo­cat­ed the woman cap­tured on the video smok­ing at a gas sta­tion.

Speak­ing at a Min­istry of Works and Trans­port event for the dis­tri­b­u­tion of Pri­or­i­ty Bus Route pass­es to­day, Bat­son said both the man and the woman in the video were tak­en in for ques­tion­ing.

He said its an of­fence un­der reg­u­la­tion 39 of the Mo­tor Ve­hi­cles and Road Traf­fic Act and the use of tech­nol­o­gy helped with their search.

How­ev­er, Bat­son told Guardian Me­dia that the in­ves­ti­ga­tion has gone in a dif­fer­ent di­rec­tion.
 
The video which was post­ed to so­cial me­dia gained thou­sands of views and com­ments. Many were trig­gered by the woman's ac­tions.

One com­men­tor said what she did was care­free and lacked cau­tion to fa­cil­i­tate a bad habit.
