A woman who allegedly stabbed her common-law husband to death during an altercation has been charged with manslaughter.
Thirty-six-year-old Vernisha Mohammed was granted $80,000 bail with a cash bail alternative of $10,000 when she appeared before Master Indira Chinebas last Thursday.
The mother of three was also ordered to report to St Margaret’s Police Station on Mondays.
The couple was engaged in an altercation at their Diamond Village home on May 27 that allegedly led to Phillip being stabbed in his abdomen.
A status hearing has been fixed for September 17 while a Sufficiency hearing is scheduled for November 24.
