Two women were robbed at gun­point af­ter leav­ing a restau­rant at At­lantic Plaza, Cou­va, on Sat­ur­day night.

Po­lice said around 9.45 pm, re­al­tor Lisa Davis and her daugh­ter Lau­ris­sa Bap­tiste were about to en­ter their Kia Sel­tos ve­hi­cle.

The women were in the carpark of Olym­pus Sky Restau­rant & Lounge when they were ap­proached by two armed men who an­nounced a rob­bery.

One sus­pect took Davis’ pur­ple Sam­sung S26 phone, black Coach wal­let con­tain­ing her dri­ver’s per­mit, cash and bank cards.

The sec­ond sus­pect took Bap­tiste’s gold chain.

The men then es­caped in a sil­ver Nis­san Y12 wag­on, reg­is­tra­tion PDC 3924, dri­ven by a third sus­pect. Po­lice lat­er found the ve­hi­cle at Ibis Av­enue, Lisas Boule­vard, Cou­va.

The ve­hi­cle was towed to the Cou­va Po­lice Sta­tion for fur­ther en­quiries.
