Prime Min­is­ter Dr Kei­th Row­ley has left the coun­try for a pri­vate trip to Bar­ba­dos.

A me­dia re­lease from the Of­fice of the Prime Min­is­ter yes­ter­day said Row­ley had left for Bar­ba­dos and was ac­com­pa­nied by his wife, Sharon Row­ley.

The re­lease did not give any de­tails of the trip or the length of time the Prime Min­is­ter will be out of the coun­try.

Dur­ing Row­ley’s ab­sence, Min­is­ter of En­er­gy and En­er­gy In­dus­tries and Min­is­ter in the Of­fice of the Prime Min­is­ter, Stu­art Young, will act as Prime Min­is­ter un­til his re­turn.

It will be Young’s fourth stint as act­ing Prime Min­is­ter.
