The vision of Worship Space began as a spark in the hearts of three young men, Antonio Roberts, my nephew Joseph Heerah and Troy Williams. They are young, passionate, and deeply on fire for God. Their dream was simple yet profound: to create a space where young people, Christians and non-Christians alike, could gather in worship and encounter the life-transforming power of God’s presence.
That vision was not about entertainment, not about performance, but about creating an atmosphere where lives could be impacted and destinies changed through the truth of God’s word.
From the very beginning, they carried this dream not with grand resources or a large platform, but with faith, humility, and a willingness to serve. In just a short time, Worship Space has grown immeasurably more than they imagined. What began as the vision of three has expanded into a movement. Their team has grown, their reach has widened, and their impact has touched hearts and lives across Trinidad and Tobago.
Our own family has had the privilege of walking alongside this journey. My eldest daughter, Ghenere, once lent her gifts in operations and logistics to help guide them in structure and execution.
Now, my youngest daughter is deeply involved and stands as part of the core team. Watching this generational alignment, young leaders stepping forward, serving God with passion, and working together in unity, has been one of the greatest encouragements to me as a father and a believer.
Last Friday, my wife and I had the joy of attending Worship Space at Faith Assembly International in Arouca. The atmosphere was electric yet reverent. It was filled not with hype, but with the undeniable presence of the Holy Spirit. Worship was Christ-centred, hearts were surrendered, and lives were touched in ways only God Himself can orchestrate.
What we experienced was not just an event, it was an encounter.
This is the heartbeat of Worship Space. Their own narrative declared it best, Worship Space is not just an event, it’s an encounter.
It is walking together in God’s presence.
It is one body with one voice.
It is remembering His goodness.
It is surrendering afresh.
It is honouring Christ at the centre.
It is inviting renewal.
It is proclaiming worship as a lifestyle.
Psalm 103:2–5, the scripture for the event so powerfully captures this truth:
• “Forget not all His benefits” because His track record is flawless.
• “He forgives all your sins,” worship begins in gratitude for grace.
• “He heals all your diseases” and worship declares His power to restore.
• “He redeems your life from the pit,” worship celebrates His saving love.
• “He crowns you with steadfast love and compassion” because worship responds to His covering.
• “He satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s,” worship refreshes and strengthens you for the journey.
This is why Worship Space must never be viewed as a one-time programme or a temporary gathering. It is a mobilisation, not a moment. It is a call to believers everywhere to rise above routine, to anchor themselves in the flawless reputation of God, and to live out worship not as something we do on a Friday night or Sunday morning, but as the very rhythm of our daily lives.
What inspires me most about this movement is the courage of young people to dream big for God. In a generation where so many are distracted by culture, technology, or fleeting pleasures, here is a group choosing instead to centre their lives on Christ and invite others to do the same. They are not only impacting peers in their immediate circles, but they are also shaping the spiritual landscape of our nation. Their dream now extends beyond T&T, regionally and internationally. Why not? If God has planted this seed, He alone will water it and bring the increase.
To Antonio, Joseph, Troy, and the entire Worship Space team: I commend your obedience. I celebrate your faithfulness. I encourage you to hold fast to the vision God entrusted to you.
Remember that worship is warfare, worship is witness, and worship is wonder. It breaks chains, draws hearts, and glorifies Jesus in a way nothing else can. Stay humble, stay surrendered, and keep Christ at the centre.
As Psalm 103 reminds us, God has already equipped you with forgiveness, healing, redemption, steadfast love, and renewal. These are not just benefits to be received, they are testimonies to be shared. As you continue to gather people into Worship Space, you are mobilising an army of worshippers who will rise, who will stand, and who will live out worship as a lifestyle.
The dream you carry is not small. It is not ordinary. It is Kingdom. Because it is Kingdom, it will outlast personalities, platforms, and trends. It is rooted in Christ, and therefore it cannot be shaken.
May this movement continue to expand, ignite hearts, and reach nations. May you always remember this truth, Worship Space is not just a stage or a gathering, it is a mobilisation of believers who are renewed daily for the journey ahead.
So let us forget not His benefits. Let us rise up in His strength and let us declare together, “Mobilised in Christ, Renewed for the Journey” (dedicated to the entire Worship Space Team; may God expand your boundaries).
