The vi­sion of Wor­ship Space be­gan as a spark in the hearts of three young men, An­to­nio Roberts, my nephew Joseph Heer­ah and Troy Williams. They are young, pas­sion­ate, and deeply on fire for God. Their dream was sim­ple yet pro­found: to cre­ate a space where young peo­ple, Chris­tians and non-Chris­tians alike, could gath­er in wor­ship and en­counter the life-trans­form­ing pow­er of God’s pres­ence.

That vi­sion was not about en­ter­tain­ment, not about per­for­mance, but about cre­at­ing an at­mos­phere where lives could be im­pact­ed and des­tinies changed through the truth of God’s word.

From the very be­gin­ning, they car­ried this dream not with grand re­sources or a large plat­form, but with faith, hu­mil­i­ty, and a will­ing­ness to serve. In just a short time, Wor­ship Space has grown im­mea­sur­ably more than they imag­ined. What be­gan as the vi­sion of three has ex­pand­ed in­to a move­ment. Their team has grown, their reach has widened, and their im­pact has touched hearts and lives across Trinidad and To­ba­go.

Our own fam­i­ly has had the priv­i­lege of walk­ing along­side this jour­ney. My el­dest daugh­ter, Ghenere, once lent her gifts in op­er­a­tions and lo­gis­tics to help guide them in struc­ture and ex­e­cu­tion.

Now, my youngest daugh­ter is deeply in­volved and stands as part of the core team. Watch­ing this gen­er­a­tional align­ment, young lead­ers step­ping for­ward, serv­ing God with pas­sion, and work­ing to­geth­er in uni­ty, has been one of the great­est en­cour­age­ments to me as a fa­ther and a be­liev­er.

Last Fri­day, my wife and I had the joy of at­tend­ing Wor­ship Space at Faith As­sem­bly In­ter­na­tion­al in Arou­ca. The at­mos­phere was elec­tric yet rev­er­ent. It was filled not with hype, but with the un­de­ni­able pres­ence of the Holy Spir­it. Wor­ship was Christ-cen­tred, hearts were sur­ren­dered, and lives were touched in ways on­ly God Him­self can or­ches­trate.

What we ex­pe­ri­enced was not just an event, it was an en­counter.

This is the heart­beat of Wor­ship Space. Their own nar­ra­tive de­clared it best, Wor­ship Space is not just an event, it’s an en­counter.

It is walk­ing to­geth­er in God’s pres­ence.

It is one body with one voice.

It is re­mem­ber­ing His good­ness.

It is sur­ren­der­ing afresh.

It is ho­n­our­ing Christ at the cen­tre.

It is invit­ing re­new­al.

It is pro­claim­ing wor­ship as a lifestyle.

Psalm 103:2–5, the scrip­ture for the event so pow­er­ful­ly cap­tures this truth:

• “For­get not all His ben­e­fits” be­cause His track record is flaw­less.

• “He for­gives all your sins,” wor­ship be­gins in grat­i­tude for grace.

• “He heals all your dis­eases” and wor­ship de­clares His pow­er to re­store.

• “He re­deems your life from the pit,” wor­ship cel­e­brates His sav­ing love.

• “He crowns you with stead­fast love and com­pas­sion” be­cause wor­ship re­sponds to His cov­er­ing.

• “He sat­is­fies your de­sires with good things so that your youth is re­newed like the ea­gle’s,” wor­ship re­fresh­es and strength­ens you for the jour­ney.

This is why Wor­ship Space must nev­er be viewed as a one-time pro­gramme or a tem­po­rary gath­er­ing. It is a mo­bil­i­sa­tion, not a mo­ment. It is a call to be­liev­ers every­where to rise above rou­tine, to an­chor them­selves in the flaw­less rep­u­ta­tion of God, and to live out wor­ship not as some­thing we do on a Fri­day night or Sun­day morn­ing, but as the very rhythm of our dai­ly lives.

What in­spires me most about this move­ment is the courage of young peo­ple to dream big for God. In a gen­er­a­tion where so many are dis­tract­ed by cul­ture, tech­nol­o­gy, or fleet­ing plea­sures, here is a group choos­ing in­stead to cen­tre their lives on Christ and in­vite oth­ers to do the same. They are not on­ly im­pact­ing peers in their im­me­di­ate cir­cles, but they are al­so shap­ing the spir­i­tu­al land­scape of our na­tion. Their dream now ex­tends be­yond T&T, re­gion­al­ly and in­ter­na­tion­al­ly. Why not? If God has plant­ed this seed, He alone will wa­ter it and bring the in­crease.

To An­to­nio, Joseph, Troy, and the en­tire Wor­ship Space team: I com­mend your obe­di­ence. I cel­e­brate your faith­ful­ness. I en­cour­age you to hold fast to the vi­sion God en­trust­ed to you.

Re­mem­ber that wor­ship is war­fare, wor­ship is wit­ness, and wor­ship is won­der. It breaks chains, draws hearts, and glo­ri­fies Je­sus in a way noth­ing else can. Stay hum­ble, stay sur­ren­dered, and keep Christ at the cen­tre.

As Psalm 103 re­minds us, God has al­ready equipped you with for­give­ness, heal­ing, re­demp­tion, stead­fast love, and re­new­al. These are not just ben­e­fits to be re­ceived, they are tes­ti­monies to be shared. As you con­tin­ue to gath­er peo­ple in­to Wor­ship Space, you are mo­bil­is­ing an army of wor­ship­pers who will rise, who will stand, and who will live out wor­ship as a lifestyle.

The dream you car­ry is not small. It is not or­di­nary. It is King­dom. Be­cause it is King­dom, it will out­last per­son­al­i­ties, plat­forms, and trends. It is root­ed in Christ, and there­fore it can­not be shak­en.

May this move­ment con­tin­ue to ex­pand, ig­nite hearts, and reach na­tions. May you al­ways re­mem­ber this truth, Wor­ship Space is not just a stage or a gath­er­ing, it is a mo­bil­i­sa­tion of be­liev­ers who are re­newed dai­ly for the jour­ney ahead.

So let us for­get not His ben­e­fits. Let us rise up in His strength and let us de­clare to­geth­er, “Mo­bilised in Christ, Re­newed for the Jour­ney” (ded­i­cat­ed to the en­tire Wor­ship Space Team; may God ex­pand your bound­aries).
