Six­ty-one (61) hors­es were en­tered for the Ari­ma Race Club (ARC) day three six-race card at San­ta Rosa Park in Ari­ma on Sat­ur­day.

The fea­ture race on the pro­gramme will is the Grade Three –Roy­al Colours Clas­sic over 1,350 me­tres. This event has at­tract­ed a field of five, head­ed by top ju­ve­nile of 2020 Su­per Bird who has al­ready won im­pres­sive­ly for the cur­rent sea­son.

The John O’Brien trained Su­per Bird looks like a rac­ing cer­tain­ty to win the li­on share of the $30,000 purse event, com­ing up against on­ly four ri­vals, three of which are his sta­ble-mates from the barn of cham­pi­on train­er O’Brien.

Su­per Bird which will be rid­den by cham­pi­on jock­ey Bri­an Boodram­s­ing, Pas­sion­ate which has been show­ing marked im­prove­ment will be rid­den by cham­pi­on ap­pren­tice and Triple Crown-win­ning rid­er Ki­mal San­to. The oth­er O’Brien in-mates from the cham­pi­on train­er's barn are Game Chang­er and With Hon­ors, which will be rid­den by Naim Sama­roo and Nela Mo­hammed, re­spec­tive­ly.

Ar­salan from the Lester Alex­is sta­ble will be rid­den by ap­pren­tice Ri­co Her­nan­dez.
