T&T sprinter Michelle-Lee Ahye did not qualify for the 100 metres final at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England today.
Ahye ran third in the second semi-final in a time of 11.29 in a race won by Jamaican Elaine Thompson-Herah in 11.05.
Zoe Hobbs of New Zealand was second in 11.15.
The top two of each race automatically qualified for the final.
Ahye's time was not good enough to qualify as one of two fastest runners outside of the top two spots.
