Bish­op's High School of the To­ba­go Ed­u­ca­tion­al Dis­trict dom­i­nat­ed the Un­der-13 di­vi­sion in T&T Sec­ondary Schools Net­ball As­so­ci­a­tion's (TTSS­NA) na­tion­al com­pe­ti­tion at the Ma­yaro In­door Sports Fa­cil­i­ty on Tues­day.

Tse­hai Ol­livierre of Bish­op's High emerged the win­ner of the in­di­vid­ual shoot­ing con­test net­ting the most goals, 23, from the most at­tempts, 53, in the time al­lot­ted for each shoot­er. In sec­ond place was Bri­an­na Morang of Tu­na­puna Sec­ondary (St George East Dis­trict) with 21 from 46 and in third place, an­oth­er Bish­op's High shoot­er Khe­myah An­der­son (19/51).

Ol­livierre and An­der­son's ef­fort along with team­mate Akai­da Muir (18/42) helped the To­ba­go dis­trict win the team shoot­ing com­pe­ti­tion with 60 goals from 146 tries ahead of sec­ond-placed Tu­na­puna with 49 from 117 and St Fran­cois Girls of Port-of-Spain (PoS) and En­vi­rons with 27 off 106.

Bish­op's High played un­beat­en to win the na­tion­al U-13 crown. Bish­ops’ High de­feat­ed St Fran­cois Girls (5-1), Tu­na­puna (2-0) and SWA­HA Hin­du Col­lege (6-0) to earn the full six points and the ti­tle. Tu­na­puna was the run­ner-up with four points and St Fran­cois placed third with two points.

The ac­tion in the TTSS­NA na­tion­al com­pe­ti­tion was sched­uled to con­tin­ue Wednes­day at the same venue in the U-15 com­pe­ti­tion and ends on Thurs­day, with schools bat­tling in the U-20 di­vi­sion from 9 am.
