Randy Britto scored the first beaver-trick in the Open Division of the Tyro Sports Club Open and Over-45 Division Seven-A-Side Football League when he led Peace and Love Reloaded to an emphatic 10-1 whipping of San Juan San Juan at the Ato Boldon Ground, Lower Santa Cruz, on Thursday.
Dale Roach scored two goals for Peace and Love Reloaded, while Hector Sam, Kurt Williams, Keron Edwards, and an own goal contributed the remaining goals for the winners; San Juan San Juan’s only goal came from Karlon Mitchell.
A day earlier in the Over-45 Division, Come Sober also won a lopsided contest 7-0 over Central Old Boys, led by two goals each from Nigel Peters and Sherwin Waldron, while Duston Falician, Joel Jacob, and an own goal were the other tallies for the winners.
The tournament sponsored by Uncle Beddoes Supermarket and Hardware and the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs continues this week.
