Jerome Chrysostom and David Sebastian emerged as the top pair at this year’s National Security Charity Golf Tournament at the Chaguaramas Golf Course, Chaguaramas, on Republic Day (September 24).
The winners completed the Two Ball/Better Ball competition with 43 points to finish ahead of Darnley Wyke and Ernest Esdelle (41).
Julius Francois and Ronald Cezair were third (39), narrowly ahead of the duo of Clayton Felix and David Benjamin (39), Dale Francis and Bryan Barry (39) and Radcliffe Boxhill and Christon Baptiste (39).
Playing on their home course, Chrysostom and Sebastian teed off last and secured the title in their debut in the tourney.
The triumph was also the first for the two for the year.
Steven Jordan and Sherman St Louis were seventh (38), ahead of Clinton Brewster and teenage golfer Kahlan Francis (38).
Esdelle collected the Closest to the Pin at Hole 12, while Kenneth Dates and Jada Charles shared the honours at Hole 16.
