When the best of T&T’s athletes take to the field for the Olympic Games this July in Tokyo, Japan, T&T fans here back home will be able to follow their quest to the top of the podium on CNC3 and all of its platforms.
Guardian Media has acquired the exclusive broadcast rights for the 2020 Olympic Games in T&T through SportsMax parent company International Media Content Ltd (IMC).
CNC3 will broadcast more Olympic Games content than ever before, as IMC will provide content from all the disciplines over the 17 days of the Games. The public will be able to keep abreast of the biggest sporting event on earth between July 24 to August 9 on all media platforms, including free-to-air television, cable TV, internet and mobile.
In fact, the long summer of sports on CNC3 will stretch into the 2020 Caribbean Premier League from August 19 to September 26. CNC3 also exclusively broadcasted the FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia, cementing the channel as the leading sports free-to-air broadcaster in T&T.
Following the signing of the Olympics deal, Guardian Media managing director Nicholas Sabga stated, “The Olympic Games ranks as the pre-eminent event bringing international sport and culture together.
