It was busi­ness as usu­al for the de­fend­ing A di­vi­sion cham­pi­ons, E-Z Lines, as they reg­is­tered an­oth­er dom­i­nat­ing per­for­mance over Bul­lz I, win­ning 9-1 in the Na­tion­al Mixed For­mat League of Darts host­ed by the T&T Darts As­so­ci­a­tion (TT­DA) at the home of darts, Kos­mos Mem­bers Club in Port-of-Spain on Tues­day.

De Orig­i­nal Game Shot (D.O.G.S.) are two points be­hind af­ter a sol­id 7-3 win over Bull­dogs. Jus For Fun is four points be­hind E-Z Lines af­ter mak­ing it two for two by de­feat­ing Sea Wolves 7-3. Shang­hai Bulls have climbed to the top of the B Di­vi­sion af­ter a com­pre­hen­sive 9-1 win over the new con­tenders, Reck­less.

Robin Joseph, cap­tain of Reck­less, gave his team some­thing to cheer about af­ter bag­ging a 180. Kiel Bap­tiste of Team Reck­less, a mem­ber of the deaf com­mu­ni­ty, made great ef­forts for his team, win­ning one leg in his dou­bles match.

Re­cent­ly de­mot­ed Pub House Pi­rates are now sec­ond af­ter a clin­i­cal 8-2 win over Top Shot. Bul­lz I re­main third de­spite their heavy loss to the A di­vi­sion cham­pi­ons.

Mean­while, the na­tion­al darts team is work­ing hard to en­sure it can suc­cess­ful­ly de­fend its ti­tle at the Caribbean Cup of Darts in Ja­maica next month with con­sis­tent prac­tice ses­sions every Thurs­day. Sun­day ses­sions are to be­gin soon.

Tick­ets are on sale for the TT­DA Bin­go event set for Ju­ly 6 at Fa­ti­ma Col­lege Hall, Mu­cu­rapo Road, St James. The TT­DA ex­ec­u­tive re­cent­ly re­ceived a sig­nif­i­cant boost to their ef­forts in the form of a grant from the Min­istry of Sports, which will go a long way in en­sur­ing all the play­ers and staff can be ac­com­mo­dat­ed while in Ja­maica.
