Leader E-Z Lines made it three wins in a row on Match-day three of the Na­tion­al Mixed For­mat League of Darts, host­ed by T&T Darts As­so­ci­a­tion (TT­DA) on Tues­day (June 18) at the home of darts, Kos­mos Mem­bers Club in Port-of-Spain.

E-Z Lines con­tin­ue to show no mer­cy as they thumped an­oth­er team from the B di­vi­sion, this time see­ing off Ran­dom Squad 9-1. The A Di­vi­sion leader made a clean sweep of the first two brack­ets, lead­ing 4-0 go­ing in­to the sin­gles, los­ing on­ly one out of five sin­gles match­es and cruis­ing to vic­to­ry. This win sees E-Z Lines re­main first with 28 points.

De Orig­i­nal Game Shot (D.O.G.S.) are one point be­hind af­ter a dev­as­tat­ing 10-0 vic­to­ry over the new A di­vi­sion team, CB Shoot­ers. CB Shoot­ers did put for­ward a very strong team, but D.O.G.S. showed why they are a con­sis­tent res­i­dent in the A di­vi­sion and com­plete­ly white­washed the team pro­mot­ed from the B di­vi­sion.

Drifters are in fine form and now move up to third, four points be­hind the A di­vi­sion league lead­ers, af­ter eas­ing past Reck­less 9-1. In the B di­vi­sion, Shang­hai Bulls made it two wins in two and re­mained first af­ter de­feat­ing Bull­dogs 7-3. The Bulls raced to a 3-1 lead and then ex­tend­ed it to four af­ter the first sin­gles. Bull­dogs pegged it back to 4-3 and looked like a come­back was on the cards, but Shang­hai Bulls cleaned up the re­main­ing three games in the tie to get over the line. Sea Wolves find them­selves sec­ond af­ter an 8-2 thump­ing over Top Shot.

Match-day 4 is set for to­day (June 25). The na­tion­al team con­tin­ues to pre­pare tire­less­ly to en­sure they are sharp and ready to de­fend their ti­tle at the up­com­ing Darts Cup 2024 host­ed in Ja­maica from Ju­ly 19-27. Fund-rais­ing ef­forts are al­so un­der­way, a bin­go event is set for Ju­ly 6 at the Fa­ti­ma Col­lege Hall on Mu­cu­rapo Road, St James.
