E-Z Lines, for the first time this sea­son, have a bit of day­light on sec­ond place af­ter a per­fect game ver­sus Bul­lz, win­ning 10-0 in A Di­vi­sion ac­tion when the Na­tion­al Mixed For­mat League of Darts con­tin­ued with match-day nine on Tues­day (Ju­ly 8).

The lop­sided af­fair was host­ed by the T&T Darts As­so­ci­a­tion (TT­DA) at No 36 New Street, Port-of-Spain. The vic­to­ry pushed E-Z Lines up to first place lead­ing by three points over Just For Fun Vikings, who are now in sec­ond af­ter a 7-3 vic­to­ry over fourth-placed Drifters.

De Orig­i­nal Game Shot (DOGS) dished out a 9-1 beat­ing over Pub House Pi­rates. They are now six points be­hind E-Z Lines in third.

Scor­pi­ons sur­vived a scare to main­tain their un­beat­en run in the B Di­vi­sion and they are one round away from be­ing crowned cham­pi­ons. Scor­pi­ons took on Shang­hai Bulls in what was a keen­ly con­test­ed match-up with the Bulls putting up a good fight and push­ing the league lead­ers all the way but the ex­pe­ri­ence of Scor­pi­ons was more than enough to get them over the line 6-4.

Triple Vi­sion con­tin­ued their hot streak with an­oth­er im­pres­sive 6-4 vic­to­ry this time over Reck­less Darts Team. The win keeps them se­cured in sec­ond place. There was no sep­a­rat­ing Sea Wolves and Jus For Fun Snipers af­ter a thrilling 5-5 re­sult. The Snipers were cruis­ing at 3-1 un­til Sea Wolves turned it all around lead­ing 5-4 with vic­to­ry close at hand but the Snipers held on for a vi­tal share of the spoils.

Flight­ed Friends re­main on course to win the C Di­vi­sion af­ter a tricky en­counter against Pel­terzzz in what can now be la­belled as “The Ari­ma Der­by”. Pel­terzzz gave a great ac­count of them­selves forc­ing er­rors from Flight­ed Friends win­ning, vi­tal sin­gles but the league lead­ers showed grit and held their nerve to se­cure a 6-4 vic­to­ry.

Ran­dom Squad re­mains firm­ly in sec­ond place af­ter a 5-5 re­sult with Bull­dogs. Top Shot were held to a shock­ing 5-5 draw with bot­tom-of-the-ta­ble Mu­cu­rapo Mus­ke­teers.

Match-day ten is sched­uled for to­day (Ju­ly 15) and is packed with sea­son-defin­ing fix­tures such as the top of the ta­ble clash be­tween E-Z Lines and Jus for Fun Vikings in the A Di­vi­sion mean­while in the B Di­vi­sion, league lead­ers Scor­pi­ons take on the high-fly­ing Triple Vi­sion.

The sec­ond in­stal­ment of the Di­vi­sion­al Rank­ing Se­ries is sched­uled for Au­gust 9 and it all takes place at the New Street venue.
