ABU DHABI – The West In­dies trio of Ja­son Hold­er, Kyle May­ers and An­dre Rus­sell all made sig­nif­i­cant con­tri­bu­tions to help the Abu Dhabi Knight Rid­ers trounce the Shar­jah War­riors by 30 runs when the In­ter­na­tion­al League T20 (ILT20) con­tin­ued in the , Unit­ed Arab Emi­rates on Wednes­day.

Af­ter be­ing sent in to bat, the War­riors made 159 for five from their 20 overs, with May­ers scor­ing 21 from just nine balls at the top of the or­der, while Rus­sell smashed an un­beat­en 24 runs from 12 balls at the depth.

Rus­sell shared an un­bro­ken 50 run part­ner­ship with Lau­rie Evans, who scored 39 not out, af­ter they were floun­der­ing on 109 for five in the 16th over.

Hold­er then de­liv­ered an ex­cel­lent spell, grab­bing 4-23 from his four overs as the War­riors were dis­missed for 129 in 19.3 overs.

May­ers al­so re­turned to grab 2-16, while David Wil­ley took 3-19.

Keemo Paul scored 21 and John­son Charles made 12 at the top of the or­der in a los­ing cause for the War­riors.
